Matt Doheny is learning that the quickest way to a voter’s heart is sometimes through their stomach.

The Republican congressional candidate is hosting informal town halls over doughnuts and coffee on Saturday mornings across the 23rd Congressional District. The first three forums were a smashing success, with about 160 residents from in and around Madison, Oswego and Jefferson counties coming to have their voices heard on the issues that matter most.
