Tea Party Leader Barie Ready For Big Congressional Battle

CM: Will we start to hear more from UNYTEA as we get closer to the election?
MB: As you know, 2011 was an off-year, and in addition to that, I suffered a brain aneurism and three strokes. So circumstances kept us kind of quiet, out of necessity and frankly out of choice: There wasn't a lot going on. In September, we had our first gathering; we had a 10-year memorial to the victims of 9/11. In February, we'll have a mixer, probably in Plattsburgh, just to get our gang together here in this end of the district. We'll definitely invite Matt Doheny as a potential candidate for Congress, and if we think there's other viable candidates, we'll invite them, too. Right now, Matthew Doheny is the only viable candidate we see. And we'll slowly crank up so that, come the fall, we can play a more active role with our volunteers and with what little money we have and with our manpower.
